Hi Gents

I have a DX7 for use with aeroplane only. Is there a way in which I can set up a switch to use as a throttle cut like you have for the helis. I have been using the throttle trim to cut and then reverting back to previous setting....

Any help would be most welcome but please treat me as a novice (I have just moved up from a Futaba Challenger for those okld enough to remeber).

Just took a look.

Go to Prog Mix 6

MIX THRO>THRO

RATE: 0% and -40%

SW: MIX

OFFSET: 0

Now the TOP LEFT SW (MIX/RUDDER D/R) will switch the mix on and off. And act as a throttle cut.

If you still want rudder d/r you will need to put all the dual rates on one switch. I also use this scheme to disable electric motors before picking the plane up after nearly severing my right arm once!
