Dom (Essential RC)
All these years flying RC and I have NEVER tried night flying. I'm addicted now! With a little help from some new friends at Hastings MFC we flew this powered glider that has 50+ LEDs of different colours to aid in orientation. Looked great in the air. 30+ minutes of flying on 1 3S2500 pack.

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I was looking for an amphibious pusher bipe in night camo! But wasn't dissapointed as this is pretty cute too! BEB
KiwiKid
Are there any laws regarding night flying in the UK? In NZ, thanks to the antics of some of our drone friends, we are limited to flying in what is called a "sheltered environment" - 100m from a structure or tree and below their height. Dom (Essential RC)
That's an interesting question. As far as I know there are no additional rules for night flying models but you would hope common sense prevails and pilots are extra careful they are flying in an area they already know does not have buildings, vehicles or anything else they could damage. I was flying at the Hastings club so no concerns.
