ericrw
My ESC (name unknown) has developed a flashing light, when I try to connect to my tx to the rx; and the result is no connection.
Allan Bennett
Flashing light, or continuous beeps, may indicate that the ESC is not getting a signal from the receiver. Your receiver normally gets its power (5v or thereabouts) from the BEC that's built into the ESC, and if that's failed the receiver will not power up. If your receiver doesn't show any lights, that's probably the reason, and it may be a failed BEC or it may be a broken connection somewhere between ESC and receiver. If, on the other hand, your receiver has power it will probably show a solid red or flashing red LED if it's not getting a signal from the transmitter. That will also cause the ESC to give error signals.
Steven S
If you plugged the throttle control wire from the ESC to the Rx upside down [not ground to ground] you will just get beeps.
Denis Watkins
Hi Eric, a flashing light on the receiver is a sign that it is Unbound or low on power, and if flashing on the ESC, as said, is low power or signal loss. If this is a new installation, it signifies throttle high, which needs either the throttle trimming right down/off, or the throttle is reversed
