No requirement to re bind after this update. Hmmmm

Kev

i think your are confusing the firmware for the tx and the firmware for the 2.4Ghz transmission module , they are two different function and one will not affect the other's operation

opps just read it fixes a rf issue too swr infact, but what was the issue?

This requirement only occurred with the last update affecting IXJT (and that with delayed notice!!) , and none previous to my knowledge, so one assumes it was a one off unless told otherwise.

The whole update process is very very unclear though, esp if on OpenTX. You have to assume that since it mentions RF it affects IXJT, there is no clear statement.

They really do need to get their act together and get someone to read and edit what is being output for sense and completeness to avoid confusion and possible error.

As they interchange data of course they affect the other! Which is why a bland statement such as "3. Fix the bug of RF SWR" could be inside the RF cct or could be in the operating system data display arising from the RF cct, and is totally inadequate to make the need for IXJT update clear, important info esp if using OpenTX.

From what I've seen on RC Groups, it looks like if you are running Open Tx and want to install the latest RF firmware, you'll need to change back to Frsky OS, update it which includes the new rf firmware and then reinstall Open Tx

That is correct.

It only takes a few minute`s.
