Piers Bowlan
No worries Peter, I think everyone knows by now that your great designs always have shear webs! I don't know if anyone noticed but for some reason I typed July instead of February. Perhaps I was just dreaming of warmer flying weather! Peter Miller
THanks Piers But I do hate leaving things out and making mistakes as basic as that. Just as an appetizer I am just finishing off my plans for a new scale model Here is a link to the You Tube film of the aircraft **LINK** There will be a build blog!!¬
Piers Bowlan
Outrageous! With take off and landings like that who needs helicopters? IC or electric Peter?
Peter Miller
Electric. because I foresee lots of tip overs and I don't want to start and engine every time!!
Bob Bertram
LMHT looks very appealing. If the rear decking was lowered plus a bubble canopy added it would look like a Spinks Akromaster. May have to put LMHT near the top of my list.
David Thomas 1
I am being lazy (actually bone idle) has anyone calculated how much wood I need to order to build LMHT? If so could you please let me know.
Peter Miller
Bob That is gthe first stage of learning to desingn, modifying and existing design. I have looked at the Akromaster a few times over the years...so many aircraft so little time!! David There is a veru good, very simple articles on this forum on how to work out what wood you need. I know, I wrote it. **LINK**

Piers Bowlan
I have just spotted that Sarik Hobbies have a CNC wood pack available for Little Miss Honky Tonk here, for anyone that fancies doing one as their winter build. Tempted myself but I may wait for Peter's Moon Dancer 2...
