Adrian Smith 1
Browsing the t'internet the other day, as you do, I came across this online supplier. **LINK** Some of the electric gear seems good value compared to other suppliers. Anybody had any experience of them?
Engine Doctor
Don't know what they are like but try this shop,Rapid RC models. At rapidness.com they have just moved to new bigger premises and stock a full range of models motors and all the little bits and pieces we use. They do a full on line service too. Great service . Adrian Smith 1
Looked at Rapid RC and the kit prices are very competitive. Always liked Goldwing models. Sadly, the electric motor selection doesn't go up to the size I am looking at. However, the Turnigy Lipos are a good price too.
Adrian Smith 1
Just an update on this thread. Tried to order a DualSky motor & ESC from here, but prices quoted on the website are without VAT. This made them too expensive. Furthermore, the site listed a variety of excuses as to why stuff won't be delivered for 7-10 days, so beware. The business therefore went to HobbyPlastic (part of Magregor's?) where prices quoted include VAT with signed for delivery (extra) within 48 hours. And by the way much cheaper pricing too. I will be trying Rapid RC Models when I decide on an airframe, as suggested in this thread.
Adrian Smith 1
Correction..... HobbyPlastic only took 24 hours to deliver, not 48 (with help from the courier of course!)

Adrian Smith 1
Ordered one of these from Rapid RC today given the positive testimonies here. **LINK** Spoke twice to them on the telephone today and found them helpful. Going to be a leccy conversion course. Edited By Adrian Smith 1 on 09/11/2017 19:23:
