onetenor
ESC This esc has only 2 wires in and 2 out which suggests Nimh or Nicad batteries and brushed motors.am I right ? Price £1.91 Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 13/12/2017 22:04:
Denis Watkins
Yes, brushed DC ESC
Dickw
The £1.91 item just seems to be a UBEC - 2 wires to battery and a Rx lead. If you select the brushless ESC it is £3.85 Dick
Geoff S
It seems to be a very strange listing with 2 separate items - a brushless 30 amp esc (with a 1.5 amp Bec) and a UBEC. I suppose you're not risking a lot a those prices. If you feel lucky it might be worth a shot but I wouldn't put one in a model I'd spent either a lot of time or money on. Nigel R
3S lipo max, although old enough that the listing still specs it in nicads (unless I missed the lipo limit). Can't see much in the way of input caps. 1.5A BEC, undoubtedly one chip linear reg, I'd be cagey about that 1.5A rating as well without knowing if it is heatsinked. It's certainly rather cheap. Buyer beware, etc.
