Escale seafire spinner.

Hi all, I have just acquired a Escale Seafire and have been looking for a spare spinner. The one that is on is a aluminium backed spinner with a plastic spinner. It measures, dia 94mm or 311/16" . I have looked about on the internet,but nothing this size. Can someone point in the right direction. It's powered by a SC 120 FS 4 stroke Glow, and has a 15x8 2 blade prop.

Hi, yeah I seen that, but was wanting a plastic one.anyone now the weight difference is between the plastic ones and aliminium one

Hi Ronos, have read that these plastic ally backed spinners are for electric.

Hi, no I haven't, it just what came with the plane, so just thought it was standard, anyone know what the stock spinner is.

My Escale Seafire came with the red plastic ally backed spinner, it's a good spinner. Bolted to the front of a 91 Surpass with a 14x8 2 blade.

 

No idea however where Seagull source it from.

I got the plane second hand,its never flown, it came with aluminium back plate and black plastic spinner which the dia is 94mm, the only ones that size is aluminium.

Thanks Brian, mine measures 94mm that's 89mm, I suppose its only 5mm but the 94mm looks nice with the cowl.

If you bought this model from a guy called Darren I can assure you its the Irvine spinner as I assembled it for him and I replaced the standard spinner with the Irvine one, come to think of it I may still have the original in my spares drawer!

Ha Ha small world. yes I did, and a big thank you to you for doing a fantastic job,well pleased with it. well that's answered the question,right from the horses mouth, can not argue with that. Whats chance of getting the original one over to me.

I managed to track a couple down at Wheelspin models. Like you said, plastic backed, perfect fit, for the Seagull Spitfire. Looking good on the Seafire.
