jeffrey cottrell
Hi Guys, here's a puzzle for all you JR users I have two JR 2720 and two 2610 transmitters which I use for both electric aircraft and helicopter use. When in helicopter mode, these transmitters have a throttle hold function, which I find a very useful safety measure when carrying the model out to the flightline. Trouble is the aircraft mode does not have this. The 2720's have 4 free mixers and the 2720's have 6 so I should be able to reproduce a throttle hold function using these, but can't see a way of doing it. Any ideas? jeffrey cottrell
Hi guys, many thanks All now up and running. Even managed to get it on the same switch as I use on my helicopters, so exactly what I needed. Now if someone could arrange for the wind to stop blowing for a while, I would be a happy man. jeffrey cottrell
Hi Guys, interesting find. I wanted throttle hold for my Limbo Dancer because after arming the esc, the wing has to be fitted with rubber bands, allowing plenty of opportunity for accidents to happen. Decided to try setting up one on my Wots Wot Foam E which is controlled by a Flysky FS-i6 transmitter. Considering this is very much a budget transmitter, surprised to find it already has a throttle hold function built in, which works on aircraft as well as helis. Only a matter of enabling it and setting the hold value to 0% and job done. Becoming more and more impressed with this TX. Considering the Tx alone only costs £29, bargain in my book.
