David Still 1
A couple of chaps at my club have built these as a bit of fun and use Cox engines, I have decided to join in but go electric I have the wood needed and most of the electronics all I needed was the plan which I found on ebay amongst others in RCM&E back issues. So Tally Ho! I'm in first job was to transfer the fuselage sides to grease proof paper and use a pin to transfer those lines to the balsa. I have also cut the formers ready for glueing up with the sides in the morning, two of the formers are laminated so I'm waiting for them to dry. Steven S
This was a fun plane to build, the pilots are figures from an HO train set.
David Still 1
I like the stakes on the fuselage I might rob that idea Dave
Mark Stevens 1
You didn't really need to go on ebay for the plan, you can get it free here - Link Mark

David Still 1
Got the sides glued up this morning I could have the fuselage finished this weekend if all goes well. Dave
Paul Marsh
I built one years ago, only flew it once, reason why I was using standard servos, 500mah 4 cell battery and huge 35meg rx. Pity I sold it, though must still have the plan, and did find the two pontoons which I didn't sell it with. Might built another, using lighter gear and 2.4. Found the old 35mm prints, so scanned them in and here. It had an OS10FP engine, which I will use again. Where are those plans...?
David Still 1
Well I finally got to the flying field but it was a tad windy so all I really managed was a bumpy circuit hopefully some calmer days lay ahead Dave

Paul Marsh
I found the plan quickly, need to buy some wood, when the shop opens. Have a spare OS10FP engine and servos, rx, battery so just need hardware.

Phil Green
Is no-one intending to fly it on Galloping Ghost, like the original?
Paul Marsh
Going to put this in a OS10 FP stunt. Found it, and might be fun, as a engine of this size only needs full power, anyway. Saves weight of one servo. Always can put the other carb OS 10 later on...
