J D 8 - Moderator
When first married we live in a cottage in the local village. The neighbours were quite types no trouble at all. The were in the grave yard. Every Sunday the church bell would ring at eight in the morning, trouble was the bell had a crack and gave a toneless twonk Has since been fixed but that was some thirty years later. Second all you say of winging incomers.
Robert Cracknell
Many years ago when first into the hobby we had a NIMBY who lived about 1/2 mile from the strip and would complain vigorously to the local council on the sight of model aircraft. Apparently he was a Hercules pilot invalided out for being deaf..! Subsequent noise measurements at his premises proved too small to be of consequence.
