john davidson 1
Setting up an F16 Falcon from hobbyking which I acquired second hand with no info. I believe it is a discontinued model, the later one has a hard suface I think.. Because there are wing extensions along the fuselage it is difficult to estimate the usual one third span for a starting point CG. I think it was a popular model so any input would be welcome. Andy Palmer
Hi John, I was flying mine this morning! It's a superb flyer on the stock set-up presumably because it's so light. I only use the elevons, I've never bothered adding the 2 extra aileron servos and it really doesn't need them. Mine has had hundreds of flights over the last 2 years or so and I still love it. It will land at walking pace without dropping a wing. Just checked the CG on mine and it's around 85-90mm from the leading edge where it joins the fuselage.
