  1. You may be able to read a specification (as we all can). But not everyone can lose all credibility by posting twice...
  2. Excellent, thanks Peter from someone who was at the last Hullavington nationals as a teenager.
  3. Yes Robert is correct, you can have either 3 or 5 points on it.
  4. Posted by jrman on 22/01/2020 12:08:32: Tony, Can't Mike Ridley repair it in the UK? He trades as "Model Radio Workshop" I think he is the UK repair centre for Multiplex. He is indeed, thoroughly recommend him.
  5. Hi John, I was flying mine this morning! It's a superb flyer on the stock set-up presumably because it's so light. I only use the elevons, I've never bothered adding the 2 extra aileron servos and it really doesn't need them. Mine has had hundreds of flights over the last 2 years or so and I still love it. It will land at walking pace without dropping a wing. Just checked the CG on mine and it's around 85-90mm from the leading edge where it joins the fuselage. Curio

I have one in the same range, two Me109's over Beachy Head. Mine was a prize from a club competition, I know there were a couple of others as well, A Lancaster one I think and of course Spits.
  7. Hi Gordon, my Schoolmaster was also built from the plan, and it would have been in 1965 or 66. I think it used a Cox 049 and it was fitted with RCS single channel radio and an Elmic Conquest escapement. It was a great flyer. Andy
  8. When my latest 'toy' from HK arrived yesterday the Parcel Force chap said "I don't seem to have been here for ages". To me that means I'm not ordering nearly enough stuff, although my wife says different! Parcel Force have always delivered within the one hour time slot shown on the app and I've got to know the driver well enough for a brief chat, another happy customer Have also had good service from DPD, Hermes etc although their drivers always seem to be in much more of a rush. I feel sorry for them, always under pressure and trying their best but not always managing to keep all the customers happy.
  9. My first single channel set was an RCS Guidance System and I later bought a MacGregor set. Here's me with my Ken Willard designed Schoolmaster, one of my later single channel models. I would think it was around 1967. Edited By Andy Palmer on 20/10/2018 09:02:16
  10. That's very helpful thanks. The model owner (Nick) does use this forum was was unable to upload the photos so he asked me to do it, He might well appear and comment himself
  11. I think you're right Alan, it certainly looks spot on to me. Thanks very much
  12.   A club-mate has been gifted a part built model but has no idea what it is and is wondering if anyone can help. He says it's 62" span and has been beautifully built, presumably for around a 60 size I/C engine. It's mostly there but he has no idea of the fin shape or size, or canopy style. Any help appreciated.
