Just a thought but is it worth squirting contact cleaner in there ? Screwfix plastic safe one cleans Blade micro servos a treat ! Saves replacing ! I have also used it to clean u\s TV remotes with excellent results. Also a gas fire piezoelectric sparker as well ! Colin.

Are you sure you wish to risk the airframe to some cleaned up contacts? Accepted, small hacks, hack away if you wish. But there comes a point as they get bigger, where a corroded contact is a potential expensive, many hours mistake.

Apologies Trevor, prescriptive text got me again.

You implied that you could not change menu, which implies a faulty switch

The switch which will not change the menu, just be the one to change

I agree with Don that I would only fly with equipment that does not need switch cleaner

But

Switch cleaner can most definitely work

If the switch does work after a spray

Then I would change it for a new one
