Dr. David
Does anyone know of a company that will Vac form individual items from my own plug? All the companies I have found only do quantities.

Julian Murch
I seem to recall an article about this in the 'special issue' 0f RCM&E last year. A simple DIY system.

Rob Ashley
Hi David, Vortex Vacforms, as Dickw mentioned, are the best I have found. They can mould from your plug. Give them a call they are very helpful. Rob
Dr. David
Aha! I had forgotten about Votex, thank you everyone, I will give them a call. I have tried the DIY route, and gone through too many sheets of clear PETG and still did not manage to get a decent result, so I will leave it to the professionals. david ‹(•¿&bull› Flight....The art of missing the ground. ====

Peter Miller
There is a knack to it but it is not too difficult. Not sure what PETG is Ideally one needs acetate sheet for best results at home.

Not sure what PETG is Ideally one needs acetate sheet for best results at home. Sorry Peter, but: a) PETG is easily available and will give perfectly good results at home. (If I can do it then anyone can). b) I'm not totally certain "acetate" sheet is made/easily available in the thicknesses likely to be used by modellers anymore. If you buy it I think you will be getting either perspex or another acrylic. Hence PETG.
