David Barker 2
Can anyone tell me the prop nut size for a new Laser 80 please. Just bought a M8 alloy prop nut which is the correct size but wrong thread pitch. Thanks.
paul d
M8 can either be 1.mm pitch ( fine) or 1.25mm (coarse) if that helps? Suggest you measure the crank thread, with a .25mm difference between fine and coarse you should be able to measure the pitch with a rule etc. Edited By paul d on 31/05/2020 09:54:
Jon H
M8x1.25 is the right size and most prop nuts available commercially use this thread as its the same as saito. No many use m8x1
Paul james 8
Quite a few still seem to use 5/16 UNF?
Ronaldo
I've also been trying to find the right thread. Nice one. Thanks for that info Jon
