Maurice Dyer
I have naked book on the 14sg, and first rate it is. But I am trying to change an electric model from throttle to electric motor with a safety switch . Following the book perxaxctly. I've done it before, but on this one I get a rapid beeping from esc/motor, which my rec manual tells me it means the throttle is not at the bottom. But it is . ??? Jesus Cardin
Maurice, first points to check: - Reversed throttle? - ATV/End Points to 100%? - Motor trim at middle or at lowest position?
Andy Stephenson
The Futaba default for throttle control is in reverse for ESCs. Simply reversing it will fix this issue but there is a menu option which changes the power control from "Throttle" to "Motor" which I believe reverses this function so it's compatible with the convention of most ESCs. There may be other benefits to this but I haven't checked these out. A.
