BikerDon
I'm thinking the most distinctive feature of this model which would help identify it is the tailplane location - half way up the fin Edited By BikerDon on 20/09/2020 22:11:

Caveman
Looks like it could be an Eros. Plane here Eros GDB
Robin Colbourne
I had an Eros once. The short nose and heavy tail were probably responsible for most church roof repair funds being initiated.

Plane here Eros GDB Marvellous Thank you GDB, couldn't be anything else could it? The tailwheel is another giveaway, not seen it done like that before. Don's looks to have a one piece wing rather than the original plug in panels and the tailplane is fixed with proper elevators and no separate upper fin, a straight 3 channel build from the start. Mine was a bit of a porker owing to me getting carried away with the paint but it was still overpowered with an OS 48 fourstroke. Jimbo565
Bob mine had the same engine, fly all day on tick over. Still a great looking model,I reckon its the same vintage as us. Stay cool
Bob Cotsford
1947 design iirc Jim, it's got a 6 year head start on me . There were some really elegant designs floating around post-WW2 that put the ubiquitous Junior 60s to shame.
