Matt Carlton
Hello all, Although the NCSL wire bender comes up on a Google search, the link to the website appears to be broken. I seem to remember it being the best available for a number of years. Does anyone know if NCSL are still trading? Wire bending tools seem a little thin on the ground! Nigel R
As an alternative, the K+S Mighty, is almost the same thing. NSCL website works for me: http://www.ncsl.co.uk/wirebender/ Edited By Nigel R on 13/10/2020 10:05:25 Edited By Nigel R on 13/10/2020 10:05:

Matt Carlton
Thanks everyone. I think my firewall doesn't like it, I get a 503 error however I try to get at it. At least I know the issue is at my end. Thanks for the link Steve, the 4max one looks ideal to be honest. At least for what I need. Can't quibble with the price either. I used to have a home made one which worked well, but when I packed in the hobby for a while, I either sold or gave away everything. EarlyBird
Matt you are welcome. It does what I want. I have a big vice, that I inherited from work, that holds it with a vice like grip. Cheers Steve
Nigel R
In case you didn't spot - that's a smaller unit. The K+S goes up to 1/4" wire (strong arm required).

Matt Carlton
I'm not overly likely to bend anything much particularly thick, but we'll see. I'll drop some hints for an early birthday present from swmbo 😜
John Tee
There is a message in small type under the delivery/credit card box at the bottom of the screen to contact Peter before ordering. John
Chris Leggate
I bit the bullet and bought one about a year ago as I was making Miss Deeds from the free plan, which specifies 8 swg for the undercarriage legs and I had no idea how I was going to bend them, This gadget did the trick for me, even though I only screwed it to a sheet of Contiboard,
Wirebender Maker
I have started to make the wirebender again, albeit only in small numbers.   This can be found at ncsl.co.uk/wirebender with more information. I hope those that have asked before will find this helpful. The reason for a halt was due to a number of factors, mainly the pandemic, which cause the material cost to go through the roof.   So after much thought I am pleased ot be able to supply again the wirebender as before but only in limited numbers and now only to within the UK due to the oversea postage costs. Hope you find this of us.  There are some instructions on the web site explaining this and the need to make contact with me first to ensure I have stock / and supply.
