Keith Berriman
Good Afternoon All My first attempt at putting a Topic on here Just building a Micro Blitz from outer zone pages from a down loaded A4 page and up scaling all measurements to get to full plan size Have slightly increased width and length I am looking to get C of G correct As with Aircraft we have a guide line of 1/3rd back from leading edge is there a rule of thumb for a Delta ? Bob Cotsford
Just scale up the distance back from the nose to the marked CofG too! In my experience deltas are fairly tolerant regarding the balance point.
J D 8
Hello Keith, Pretty much as above, put it where suggested. Cheers John.
Kevin Fairgrieve
A number of years ago I scaled up a plan that was a freebie in this fine magazine. Not the Mini Blitz, but another. Put the CofG in the same scaled up position. Fly`s superbly. My Mini Blitz fly`s on either an 1300mAh or1000mAh 3S lipo, there is very little difference to the flight envelope. Only difference is a slightly shorter duration.
