Terence Lynock
6mm sheets of Depron 1200 mm x 500 mm - Ten sheets for £11.88Do they still do it at that price? if so I am off to B&Q in the morning !...... if it is true Depron then I am stocking up on it,regards, Terry
Terence Lynock
The sheets are 1200 x 400 which works out at 1/2 metre x 20, free next day delivery etc for thirty nine quid, problem is it would take me so long to use that amount they would probably make my coffin out of it,regards, Terry
Paul Adams
I can not see any difference between the B&Q stuff and depron, and I can vouch for its flying ability. Its a pity they don't do it in 3mm else I would use it for indoor models as well. Regards Paul
Terence Lynock
Hi Paul, I built a small (36'' long) YB70 Valkyrie few weeks ago as a try-out but want to build a big version with detachable fuse to make it easier to move around and it will need a lot of Depron for the big delta wing, have to go out in the morning to a craft fair at Cosford Aerospace Museum so may drop in at B&Q on the way past, regards, Terry

Terence Lynock
Dunno.....but today I paid our btranch a visit and they have things called 'spaceboards' which are a pale pinkish colour 1200x500 and four to a pack for just under twenty quid, looks to be very simular to blue foam and would probably do the job.Gave it a good poke and then looked at a piece of blue I have and not much difference if any, regards, Terry
Terence Lynock
'Spaceboards' are 2'' thick by the way.............regards, Terry
Paul Adams
Bad news folks Managed to get into B&Q today, went to the shelf where I got mine three weeks ago and shelf is now full of other underfloor insulation. Asked customer services and the woman there knew what I was looking for and found it on their computer. Apparently it has been discontinued. She phoned up the supplier and they do not sell it any more.Don't know how I am going to explain to the wife that I need to take up the laminate floor in the dinning room and swap the foam underlay for another type. I shall be stocking up with another few packs when I'm next passing.Steve

Paul Adams
Popped into another B&Q on my way back from a job, and they had one pack on the shelf. See pictures below:-
Steve Smith
Yep that's the stuff Paul, well done for getting the last pack. In the Peterborough B&Q they have 2 large pallets of it. You should be able to build quite a bit from the 10 sheets.Steve
Terence Lynock
Tried this area and zilch, Telford B&Q never heard of it, Kidderminster had just sold their last six packs, as far as they know it is now a discontinued line and they wont have any more of it in,regards, Terry
Terence Lynock
The pink foam they have looks to be a good deal, 2.4 sq mtrs of two inch for less than 20 quid, look for slightly damaged packs and ask for a discount!, I got three quid knocked off mine, regards, Terry
