Mike Downs
I have replaced the batteries to Flight tech 3800-11.1v lipos and have done the readings again..... Battery A Amps Watts Volts No load 12.6 30 313 10.6 1st run 30 320 10.6 2nd run Battery B No load 12.5 30 318 10.7 1st rum 30 320 10.6 2nd run Given the speed controllers and the motors does this look OK to go? Thanks
Tim Mackey
Thats much more like it... the battery is now holding the sort of voltage I would expect and the other figures correspond also.
Mike Downs
Thanks for that....... one more question.....as the amps are 30; does that mean because the juice is going through 2 speed controllers (which are 30 amp controllers) is shared i.e. 15 amps trhrough each,or both taking 30 amps each? Tim Mackey
Yes, shared between the two motors and ESCs.
John Sheehy
Just a crazy thought, the motors arn't connected in series by any chance. Disconnect one motor and see if the other one works.John.

Frank Skilbeck
Jo Rather than modify an IC engine mount had you considers fixing the motor directly to the bulkhead like in the photo below, makes it very easy to adjust the standoff and also thrust line.
