Steve Colman
Having recently caught the heli bug with the purchase of an Esky Robins I am finding things a little cramped in the house for anything but simple hovering and a few spot landings etc. Therefore i'm thinking of getting a micro heli in order to increase my flying options but, the question is which one?I have been looking at the Walkera 5G6 and the Eflite Blade mCX. The Blade is currently about 60% more expensive than the Walkera but does seem to be a fantastic little heli. The other side of the argument is that I live in Spain and spares are not readily available here for Eflite, whereas they are for Walkera. If anyone has any experiences with these 2 helis or Walkera / Eflite products in general your advice would be greatly appreciated.Steve. Cliff Hannam
I have been flying a Blade CX2, Twister Skylift and Blade 400. Couldn't resist The MCX when I read the spec. so bought a bind & fly. Fully expected it to be twitchy - being so small, especially the first flight before the trimming had been sorted, but it flew no probs with no trim adjustments required. It is very stable, yet manoueverable, flies better than any of the others! (How do Eflite do it?) If you get one, you won't be disappointed and you will be comfortable flying in the smallest of rooms...........

GrumpyGnome
I have a Walkera 4-3 - not the Co-Ax version. It's absolutely tiny ! Version 2 comes on 2.4Gig....................Surprisingly stable and easy to fly. Not Rolls Royce quality of course but as I only paid under £80 for it, I can't really complain.GG
