Hi Pat  - Stating the obvious - did you check tick the advertise session box.  I also read that my wireless router has a built in Mc Afee fire wall (didn't know that !)  I also have running Norton virus which I have found if I disable it for an hour, then people can come onto your session.

I  also think you cant actually see your own session on the list - I think!

Hi Alan, I find stating the obvious is mostly always a good thing.

The port forwarding thing is meant to punch a hole through the firewall (like taking a brick out that only lets certain things through). I have AVG anti virus software, I'll check the logs to see if it's blocking anything. and turn it off for a bit.

I used to get a message when starting up a session on Phoenix, something like welcome to Phoenix online, haven't seen it for a while though. It is odd I can connect to other people (not everyone though, so I think they have the same configuration issues). I know if it's not going to connect because the orangeprogress bar fills twice before it times out.

I'll start a session now, and see if anyone joins
