Hi,

We had a new club member turn up with 2 brand new DX6e transmitters and a nice Boomerang trainer complete with Irvine 52 , he had buddied up the DX6e to each other ready for a bit of supervised flying but the future plan was to fly with his grandson ( good idea).  We started and tuned the Irvine and tested the controls all went the same way , all good . As it was a bit busy with one of our tame lunatic " throttle don't use them" fliers hooning around at 100mph everything was switched off for 10 minutes and when switched on again the student TX had lost its bind . Rebound everything looked OK and the flight went well but after being switched off again the student became unbound , thinking something odd we tried to bind but no joy so we swapped the TX  around so the other was the master but still no joy binding them despite standing 15 feet away shielding the TX with your body ( known speccy problem) .

A DX8 was pressed into master service and one the DX6e tried to bind under trainer again but "bind failed" so another DX8 was used as student and all was well . At no point did the DX6e lose bind to the aeroplane just each other in trainer mode , we have a regular flier whose uses a DX8e as master every week with no problems and finally both DX6e are up to date software versions - so anyone any ideas why ?

Thanks in anticipation.
