Stephen Jones
Just thought I'd share how I cut holes in Balsa ribs. I sharpen the end of a suitable size brass tube. Steve
Allan Bennett
Rather than sharpen the end of a brass tube, I file teeth into it and either turn it by hand or by electric drill. I also use it to form a long hole in a foam wing core for lighting or servo cables.
Paul De Tourtoulon
Harder woods heat the tube up with a blowlamp, and for servo wires in foam or balsa wings a 4mm length of piano wire again heated up with a blowlamp, attention in foam it will make a 5/6mm hole so you can go down to 3mm.
