John Barry
Hi I'm looking for some help identifying a kit I recently picked up. More specifically I'm trying to source the plan for it that was unfortunately missing. The only identification on the box is on the side the word Elan and the name of the kit Astra. It was apparently distributed by Irvine so I guess that gives some idea of the age. It is a parasol sports model with a 54 inch wingspan running on 20-25 2 stroke or 40 4 stroke. PatMc
Could it be that Astra were the manufacturer of the kit ? Google turned up this Czech company https://www.astramodel.cz/en/catalog/rc-airplanes-c21.html but a search for the name Elan drew a blank, which might be no surprise if it's an old kit. But you might get some help from them with a request via email. Good luck. 🤞

PatMc
John, I (& probably others) can't open a .heic file without having to install an app that I don't want. If you could you attach the photo as a .jpg file it will appear as an image on the thread.

John Barry
Thank you John for changing the image to .jpeg. Does it help anyone identify the kit? There is nothing else on the box except the word Elan on the side. It was sold by Williamson if Doncaster, I've asked them but they have no information on it.
