Paul Marsh
Has anyone got plans for the Precedent Hi Fly and Fly boy 20? Was given the balsa at a swapmeet and although had a HiFly as a first plane years ago, want to build this one. Most of it is logical, but especially the wings would be easier with it. Alan Gorham_
Derrick Scott has them in his plans listing. https://www.model-plans.co.uk/precident.htm
Simon Burch 1
Yes - I have the plan and a set of instructions. I'll try to upload them - if that's allowed of course. I'm not sure what the copyright rules are. My Hi-Fly is 27 years old; it's a good slope trainer and, with an electric motor fitted to the power-pod, it has some flat-field capability too - good enough for me to pass an A(SFE) test with it. The only modification I made was to increase the size of the rudder (as many suggest) but I didn't find that it made much difference. kc
The Fly Boy plan is on Outerzone. Says it's Balsacraft ( that was the same firm as Precedent ) and it's 47 inch span. I dont know if that is the same as a Fly Boy
