Pufferman
I have added ailerons to a Ranger 600 using a 4 in 1 rx for a spitfire and microace linear servos. It works fine but when switched to beginner/intermediate the gyro drives the ailerons the wrong way while the stick still works correctly. I also noticed that the rudder and elevator servo push rods had to be swapped. Not the simple job I thought. Any ideas? I am still learning to fly and need the gyro assistance. Shaun Walsh
The unit is probably mounted with incorrect orientation wrt the model. try turning through 180 degrees around the roll axis of the model, if that doesn't work rotate it through 180 degrees around the yaw axis. This assumes that you can't program out in the unit's firmware.
Pufferman
Just had a thought. Have I put the Rx in back to front?

Pufferman
I just realised that. I put it in the way the Ranger rx was fitted.
Geoff S
It probably is a question of orientation of the unit in the model. That your ailerons work the right way on your transmitter is irrelevant as they can be reversed once the gyro is working OK.

Pufferman
Not that simple Geoff. I am using the Voltanex Tx which is very basic. I will probably have to reorientate the servos. Though that will probably be easier than freeing the Rx.
Denis Watkins
Am late to the party guys But each Volantex gyro is programmed for each style of model they fit them too So you are right Pufferman to alter servo placement and orientation to fit that receiver No adjustment is provided by the Tx as you say
