Jake Bullit
They fly great don`t they.I have the Dancing Wings one which is the same I think.Nice relaxing flier, though it does get the attention of the local avian population.
Ron Gray
Yes Jake I think they come from the same ‘stable’ although from what I’ve seen I think the Skynetic version requires less building!
Mark Allen 1
That looks great Ron, our local farmer will love that!
Ron Gray
Not to mention the local resident Red Kites and Buzzards!
Steve Dunne
Very nice flight, Ron! I have a very old 3-channel version now dropping to bits due to over-use and imperfect landings... Seeing yours, I have now ordered one of the same as a replacement - should be better with ailerons. Are you able to let us know where your finally settled CG point is? Many thanks, Steve. Ron Gray
I certainly will Steve, just waiting for a weather window to appear! I've put in another approx 2º of down thrust but I'm unsure about the C of G, moving the battery back 25mm didn't really make it glide level so it's now down to playing with incidences (wing). I'm also going to change the wing fixing to a peg and nylon bolt as my days of fiddling with rubber bands are long since gone! plus I'll be adding an external arming plug.
