Frank Day
May be spending some time in Poland, I've seen a few of the lads out playing but not able to stop etc to enquire. Could be me but searches only throw drone nonsense and a couple of emails proved fruitless. Anyone out there with contact detail for a club etc. Warsaw and Posnan areas
Robin Colbourne
Frank, you could try posting on this Polish Facebook groupwhich translates to "RC planes are our passion"

James Green2
Hi Frank, I went down a similar path a year or so back. My partner wishes to relocate the family back to her native Poland and one of my first instincts was to try to reach out to a model club in the right area (Lublin). Well I joined the Lublin facebook group and made an introduction in Polish (via Google translate) and English, didn't get a single response. https://www.facebook.com/radawiecrc I hope you have more success than I did. Hi James, I've joined, subject to approval the group linked above. I posted in English and did the Google translate, hopefully no offensive translation issues. Son lives there, wife (Polish) grandkids. Daughter-in-law said expect some "issues" I'm fully prepared with Polish builder expressions! Frank Day
If all else fails, hoping to be Billy no mates on my own strip. No more will I call taking off. Subject to regs of course. James are you aware of the regs in Poland
James Green2
Hi Frank, this is an active Polish forum I found last year: https://pfmrc.eu This is a club near Warsaw I think. https://www.facebook.com/pkmlrc/ I am not aware of the regs in PL unfortunately. From my experience, most Poles under 50 speak English pretty fluently, but I have found the online forum culture in PL, not quite as open as this fine old place. Geoff S
There certainly is an active Polish RC community. We had a Polish member who designed and built his own F3a models and, IIRC, won the Nationals about 6 years ago. He took it very seriously and used a dual prop setup which had 2 motors with concentric prop shafts, which was designed by a Polish friend of his. We called him Les (which was a contraction of his Polish name) I can't remember his last name. He moved away to work on the south coast somewhere, working for a boat building firm, I believe. Frank Day
I've seen a few bits and there is more interest in traditional builds as opposed to foamies. A shop I buy from sells plenty of artf and kits. Budget is another issue. £ is 5-1 against the Polish Zloty so not so much interest in very expensive eflite and similar offerings
