James Hindle
This one looks very very nice expecially for those like me who don't have the patience to build the west wings version.....The new sprung oleos and metal retracts should make it go well from grass and the wings are removeable for transport... Scott et al should have them in very very soon ........
Dusty
looks the bomb hope it flies as well as the panther and f16!
Tim Mackey
Oh now that could well scupper my policy of " I already have enough Jets " Edited By Timbo - Moderator on 10/06/2009 18:30:
Dusty
James is it on the market yet or is Lander still testing, might be worth holding off till they fix all the nigly bits like with the panther and f16? Thats defo on the "everyday is my birthday shopping list"!
James Hindle
Its just started shipping so should be in the shops in a couple of weeks. To be honest the main problems with the previous jets were gear doors and retracts. The new sprnig metal retracts should hold up well on grass, I'm waiting on some to try on my rafale. Personally I can't wait and have opted for the traditional camo hunter. Thius video sold it to me ......

Dusty
I think I would handlaunch still, saves all the extra weight and servos etc IMO off grass unless its a bowling field! whose going to be the first to order one then?
birdy
Would be easy to make up a dolly in my humble oppinion, but I havn't had anyexperience with them

scott cuppello
Oh sure, 6s version, just need to get this 80" Sundowner out of the way, Hunter will be finished for Weston I reckon....so not much sleep then like you said!
James Hindle
Scott, did you manage to fly the hunter at weston this weekend ?
scott cuppello
Hi James, not a hope...have not even managed to open the box, that's how manic things are! I'll come on as soon as it's flown.
scott cuppello
Well, it's built, just need to fly it! By all accounts C of G is too far forward, so I shall let you know the outcome of my experiences, model is on 6s fan, 2500mAh pack in the nose, meaning a little lead is needed, more in the next few days. winchweight
What's the total cost please James?
Dusty
BRC deal with the Lander 4s/6s fan seems the best going, once you worked it out the cost and performance of the lander fans thats going to drop in is a big PLUS!! I reckon fromt that price add on your servos, esc bla bla.. My Lander F-16 £90 Lander 6s 70mm edf £90 Super Simple 100a esc £30 2x 2200 25c flight max lipo (£60?) 1x 1000mah rx Nimh pack £8 1 x Assan 7ch 2.4g rx £26 Servo extionsions £10? Servos £40 ish for MG's x 5? My F-16 not cheap, so the Hunter will be same to kit out, add the extras for the UC, extra servos etc... Inc postage etc, these are rough geustiments for you Shaun, this is the budget i worked with F16... the panther worked out cheaper on 4s, and its faster!!!
