Tim Mackey
I assume this is North Carolina ? Look like a nice little modification, but not sure the cost of shipping to us here in the UK would be worthwhile. How about a discount for the forum members, and perhaps also for "bulk buy"...unless you have a UK agent already?
Fog Dart
Alu trim tabs for the DX6i? Result, the standard ones are cack, 3 of mine have failed already. To be honest Horizon do replace them no questions asked but having to wait for them in the post is a pain. They are very easy to fix. Have a DX7 on the way and if the same is true for the DX7 i will upgrade to ali ones
Chris Hockaday ( East R/C )
The shipping cost to UK is 12.95usd, if I can fit it all in one of the large padded envelopes or flat rate boxes. Several sets will go in an envelope. We can do a special for you guys at the individual level or for bulk buy. Whatever is easier for everyone. PM me for inquiries. I will not advertise a special price aloud. Thanks everyone! Chris
Chris Hockaday ( East R/C )
Timbo, We do not have a UK agent. Do you have any info on this? Chris
Tim Mackey
My DX7 is almost 3 years old and WELL used....no problems to date whatsoever. Wifes DX6i hads been fine to date ( 12 months old ) but i am aware of several people who have had issues with the trim tabs on the 6. Thanks Chris... I will make this a sticky thread so you might get an idea of interest better.
Tim Mackey
Posted by Chris Hockaday on 20/06/2009 19:07:28: Timbo, We do not have a UK agent. Do you have any info on this? Chris Well not really, but many US and HK based businesses use agents to market and distribute goods here in the UK. You could either use a suitable individual, or perhaps better..... an existing retailer / distributor. I will happily let you have some suggested "partners" - mainly webbased electric flight specialists, but you would need to enter a direct dialogue with them of course. These are small somewhat intrinsic parts, and I doubt there is much margin on them and obviously any retailer here would want his share of that to cover his costs and troubles. PM me if you want some UK contacts.

Glenn Philbrick
Did these ever become available in the UK my trim tabs are just about to give up the ghost? Glenn
Capt Kremen
Don't know if ever imported by a dealer but why bother when you can order direct. My set came through very quickly. (A week from order to delivery). Easily fitted, working a treat
Vecchio Austriaco
Had a problem last winter - 2 of 4trim switches broke at low temperatures - as it looks it is only an issue on the DX6i as we have both the 6 and 2x the 7 in the family. I ordered the aluminium parts at east RC and I am totally happy with them. (I have used only the DX6i during this autumn) If I remember right the postage was higher than the price of the parts...
