Tim Mackey
Yes. But dont despair, the bind plug is easily made from an old servo plug...its nothing more than that with the two outer pins connected together - 2 minute job. They do not normally come with BNF models. Clive Matthews
The bind plug comes with a receiver. It is a very simple plug which shorts out the signal and positive terminals on the receiver. Most shops would give you one free if you're buying a TX. Don't know about BNF models but as they can be bound to a DX6i, they must use a similar method. Don't worry about them, they are common and very easy to beg, borrow and buy!Edited By Clive Matthews on 30/09/2009 12:20:
Doug Ireland
Re homemade bind plugs. If you make one with a socket you can do the binding through a three-legged switch harness without having to unplug it. Providing of course the harness uses all three conductors in the two plugs and one socket.

Frank Skilbeck
Bind n Fly models don't come with the bind plug, they use a different method, basically you switch the TX on in bind mode and during the Rx boot up it looks for a TX thats transmitting in bind mode and it binds that way. I bound my MCX heli to my DX6i no problem. Standard Rx's all come with bind plugs
