Olly P Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Hamish, this is similar to my charger and the charged capacity is how much has been put back into the battery, and gives you an idea of how much you used up last use. not much use imho, as the rest voltage will give you the approx % of charge remaining. I would imagine if you had a totally flat battery you can measure how much you have put in to bring it up to full charge. Monitoring the duration of flights and then recording how much is put back in would be some form of rough measure, however the nature of the flight and conditions would have an effect. Not sure I want to go into this depth but at least I now no what this figure is which was not explained in the manual. Frank Skilbeck Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Charged capacity is quite useful, although voltage will let you know approx how much is left in the battery this can be used to determine the useful flight time. I usually adjust my Tx timer over the first few flights to get around 80% of the battery capacity. Measuring the charge put back in lets me work up to this quicker.
