  1. Chris, private site or not that wasn't safe. Clearly there will be those who are awed watching a model like that being thrown about and then there are those like me who think it was a stupid thing to do. Models that size need treating with respect and used to give an example of best practice if you're going to put stuff on a public forum.
  2. A big and complex model, maiden flight and straight into low level rolls within the first few seconds. Real bright.
  3. Chris, take a dustpan and brush so Phil can clear up properly...
  4. Ray, with the larger plan work out where the C.G. is as a % of the chord then apply that same % to your model.
  5. Raymond, there's a file here with the cg marked from a 1989 Aero Modeller, could it be the same plan? https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showatt.php?attachmentid=5136258&d=1346931529
  6. Based on his previous models I'll be sure to hide if he displays it at any shows I go to. It's unlikely to end well.
  7. Thanks Pete, always good to see a non FMS foam Alpha Jet in the FMS foam Alpha Jet thread
  8. Rob, I had the Lander one off the slope successfully and have seen several others of assorted versions. They go well just block off the intakes.
  9. You won't be disappointed, I built mine electric and it was rock solid, knife edge loops all day. Have often regretted selling it.
  10. Piers, no secret, this is the prototype flying last year
  11. Andy, that looks stunning, pleased the maiden went as hoped Piers, we run the mass builds alternate years so the next one will be 2018 and we already have the subject. Agree with Andy about the complexity for a mass build but I wouldn't rule out having one myself
  12. Likewise I'd be interested to know how fire would affect the trim.
  13. Posted by Mark Kettle 1 on 11/04/2017 16:41:54: On it's way ? ....Do you mean Andy throw it away or burn it? He means burn it. Thoroughly.
  14. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I designate the target as your wheeled shed.
  15. Really? I can't understand the level of self generated stress and the public trial of a business for 5 sheets of 1/16" balsa. If all I had to worry about in life was the cost of that and how the postage charges were apportioned I'd consider myself very blessed indeed. Get some perspective.   Edited By Matt Jones on 23/03/2017 22:08:07
  16. Mark, please make it with a proper wing section, I really don't want to have to set it alight.....
  17. So much for having an original idea and something different...
  18. I'm not entirely sure what I've started here but it's good to try something different, here's mine from the Cameroon Airforce, who knew they even had one?!
