  1. Just as an aside to the many very useful points. I've used a little jeti MPD (Yellow) receiver in my F20 (see article in this issue) and it has been very good. I was very worried about glitching especially with those long battery leads but so far so good. I'm very impressed with all things jeti, never had a prob' with their gear.
  2. Very sorry to hear of the loss Dave, great story though, thanks for sharing. Don't think I'm being too sharp or anything but why not build something that's easy to fly that you can fly yourself? Are you more of a builder?
  3. Depends where you fly Myron, some clubs inisist that you only go solo after the 'A' - not a bad idea at the end of the day but not taking anything away from what you've achieved of course.
  4. Yes, sorry about that Rob, just had a few production prob's but back with a vengance next issue!
  5. Rob, we have been running the 'for starters' beginners series this last 6 issues. Part 7 will be in the Aug issue and is specifically advice on passing the A test.
  6. Rob, is there a particular article you need. I can photocopy from our archive. Send me an email to [email protected]
  7. Give them a call Danny, they might be able to do something bespoke!
  8. The Hitec retract servo (I think it's a 75'BB? ) is good value at around £20. I've had several and they've all been fine. Much better than trying to make do with a standard servo.
  9. Alice, I can't think of a better event for your father to go along to, the only alternative would be the LMA show at Cosford, seee the ad' in the mag or look at the LMA site (large model assoc) David.
  10. BRC Hobbies can probably help here Danny, they can usually make up balancer leads to order. David.
