  1. personally i dont use overlanders as found them to "puff" far quicker than any other battery and also found them to deliver less power than most. I either use Turnigy packs or Radients . Radients arn't the best packs in the world but are far good enough for what you are using them for.
  2. I had one of these on 10s and was a wonderfull bit of kit. Dont bother with the leading edge slats as they really dont work as they should and watch the flaps as they cause the nose to dive dramatically. I ended up not using flaps or leading edge slats at all .
  3. Hopefully you can get those wheels the right way round now keith :P
  4. If you have a look at the reds radio control videos they are honest. And this kit was fantastic and i really cant fault it
  5. The price is still 379.99 according to the website.
  6. Spares will be carried by Reds but are awaiting prices for the spares atm. But if you need a spare please just either email or ring them and they can sort it for you. Personally i cant see the point in saving 20 pounds when if the kit has any defects or problems you then have to deal with the Chinese, also if people don't support the local shops then you wont be able to get spares locally. just my two pence worth
  7. My spitfire arrived and has been reviewed, a couple of issues that needed ironing out but the factory will be sorting those on the next batch. Here is a video of it flying https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw7nCxkqSLQ&t Edited By Thomas Barwick on 19/07/2017 16:14:08 Edited By Thomas Barwick on 19/07/2017 16:14:27

  9. Reds radio control will have it 29th of july. I work alongside freewing and it has been delayed because of some issues that I and another tester have found during flight testing which have now been rectified .
  10. they were the weights of the prototypes as asked seagull for the specs as interessted myself, so unless they have changed anything for the production model thats what it will be looking at
  11. The yak 3 is nice but a little small for me at 1600mm, and heavy at 4.5-5.5 kg so the wing loading is rather high.
  12. It has been very quiet, but I know that black horse have released 5or 6 new kits and that vq have brought a new range of kits that look very nice
  13. Thanks for the help guys! have fired a couple of emails off to people so finger crossed
  14. Hello , I recently have brought a mc72 float plane and have been flying it off the grass for a while but would really like to try it off water where it belongs, I live in the leicester area and wasn't sure of where you can fly and if there are any additional rules surrounding flying off water. Thanks , Tom
  15. The dr mad thrust fans are very good units, but the thrust numbers are taken outside of any airframe so the thrust will be higher. I have always experienced at least a 20% loss in thrust when installed in the airframe, so something to be aware of.
