  1. Excellent looking models guys. Harry, how do you 'finish' the exposed flutes of the correx when you paint the model? Thank you for the P.M, that would be great thank you.....looking forward to seeing the Horten at the Bwlch next month, should have my new build finished by then ( P 51-D ) Still dithering over War bird or Renno?? 😕 May wait and see what it's flight charictristics are like before I decide....
  2. Fair do's Steve you do a decent video.
  3. Morning guys. I about to start building a P51 sloper and want to finish in a chrome self adhesive type covering. My concern is will this type of covering effect the 2.4 signal? I'm sure a read somewhere that there has been issues. Cheers guys.
  4. Have a look at the Flyingwings Spectre...a Wildy clone. Some say not a patch on a Wildy, but I'm having great success with mine (I don't combat it Timbo 😊 ) Flyss in a knats fart, much better than the available W.Thing and add a ballast bay, add 300g's of lead and she'll rocket along in big winds. 6. Hi Mark. How is the Spitfire prototype coming along? Are you still looking at selling it in kit form.

  8. Hi guys, I wonder if I could pick your brains please?   I have a Flyingwings Spectre foamie ( similar to a W.T ) which is a great model, maybe not as good as a Wildy in some ways, but it certainly flies better in the lighter lift days than the present version.   Anyway, it is a light model, less than 700 g's and I'm considering fitting a ballast tube in it as I feel it has the potential to fly faster on the 'bigger' days.   Fitting this is easy enough but the best place to fit would be on c of g recessed in top of the wing/fuz instead of underneath, mainly because there is more 'meat' there to house the ballast tube. Is it ok to fit weight in the upper section of the model? I should be able to increase it's weight by up to  approximately 350g's for those big days. Cheers guys Phil   Edited By Phil May on 27/03/2016 10:36:50
