  1. Yes a picture speak a thousand words, i need to workout picture capture for explinations
  2. back to topic , like above post I use TTSautomate as well works fine and free. To make it work in the settings (for Horus/taranis) set the file name to 6 characters tick the box to encode mp3 to wave, sample rate to 16000Hz and bits to 16. (you only need the wave file) you can also set the voice to Amy British English . The link to download TTSAUTOMATE ..........scroll down and install @instaler version) only pay if you want to
  3. I have no problems with that and it's two tests in one , are you a proper alpha male? and is she honest? ?
  4. well i have for a while now used the non glue version Diatex 1000 and used cover grip to stick it down, its very strong and stable(doesn't wrinkle like solartex did) As for diacov it has the heat glue already applied and it is very good and sticks to itself very well without help as well as metal wood. you don't need dope to seal it just straight on Polyurethane or KlasKote paint.
  5. that depends where you are! most places it has ethanol in it as quoted from Esso's site. Although our pumps have E5 labels on them, our Synergy Supreme+ 99 is actually ethanol free (except, due to technical supply reasons, in Devon, Cornwall, North Wales, North England and Scotland). Legislation requires us to place these E5 labels on pumps that dispense unleaded petrol with ‘up to 5% ethanol’, including those that contain no ethanol, which is why we display them on our Synergy Supreme+ 99 pumps.
  6. Try a ripmax or there dealers overseas they might know http://www.ripmax.com plenty in europe
  7. Hi thanks for the reply using frsky horus x12s
  8. yikes £99 but an ignition switch as well so a bit OTT for my needs , all I need is to take the rpm lead from the ignition module and plug it in to a sbus converter so i can get the rpm via telemetry , maybe there is some where about a diy kit?
  9. can anybody help? is there a sensor that can be plugged into the ignition module rpm out put lead and send that info via the telemetry. I know there are stand alone rpm readers with there own rpm sensor,
  10. I believe the alpina is sold out due to demand can't buy it anywhere but if you enquire about its smaller sibling the Antaris you might have more luck
  11. As it's under warranty get a new rf board send the picture to t9 and a decision to be made no if and but with new board and easy job.
  12. They need big water pumps to liquidate the sand under the stern starboard side. BIG tugs to pull back from the stern and a a couple to push the bow a bit to port and hay presto it's that easy?
  13. looking at the picture the small smt component just below the solder joint looks burnt out , need to find it's value and replace, tiny tip solder iron needed, should solve the problem
  14. if you need to update the tfr8 etc I got a usb adapter for updating frsky lying around in a draw that can be utilized. update mine wirelessly now. just ask i can do it for you too
  15. Hi Diatex 1000 and diacov are the same material the diacov has heat activated adhesive already applied (like oratex or solortex has). Both are a white opaque 100% polyester and heat shrinkable from 100°C (approximately 15%) yarn (woven fabric) the diavoc looks antique because of the backing paper protecting the glue side. I've used diatex for a few years now and it is very good/ stable and strong, used heat activated glue like balsa lock/cover grip etc/ applied just where needed, so saves a little weight, but will use the diacov for ease when i run out of my stock of diatex. I use a nitrocellulose non shrink dope for extra adhesion aide, stabilizing the tension, coating and sealing the DIATEX(just two coats) , then paint (used all sorts). Nitrocellulose has a better adhesion and flex than butyrate base stuff.
  16. Those little tiny rx are the same as the bigger ones minus the bulk of the pwm conversion circuitry and connector pins, full range and just as capable/reliable so no worries there, but the one with the large case do feel like you got something in hand?. NO need for the redundancy bus I would just go for one of your pro rx's and a x4r/x6r,( just make sure they are either both accst or both archer types) and use 2 good switches with 2 life (6.6v)batteries to keep to the kiss principle as much as possible. that one switch voltage regulated powerbox is only rated a 4a and is a sing point failure( no need to regulate for the rx and servos) as for the engine ignition what are you going to do for power, My preferred method is to come of the two batteries using a tech-aero ultra ibec (via a y lead), very reliable and constant voltage to ignition
  17. hi i have used redundancy on my large dh82 , very good no issues . i first had a rx8r and xm no issues but if main rx failed you will loose telemetry (no big deal really), but i wanted battery redundancy as well. so i upped the game and now have rx8r pro and R-XSR all plugged into a RB20 with two batteries (+2 switches)all works very well no issues. when using a rb20etc you don't actually need any rx's with pwm servo ports, as all the servos are plugged into the redundancy bus and the rx's use the s bus. In both redundancy methods I tested by screen wrapped each rx aerials in tun and moving my tx away to trigger lost signal and all worked as it should. (i have a large 70cc petrol never any issues) How large is this model and are you using large servo's? If you are the rb20 is best and has redundant telemetry as well over the rb10. i am happy it all works as it should
  18. I think on the contact page the email address could have a typo and used at instead of the symbol @ try [email protected] and see if that works, time difference could delay an answer they have been around a long time, you will need to contact them for international postage any way as stated on site, i don't think they will post for free
