It is super frustrating when even my damaged brain knew what to do at all times,? In terms of stoicj inputs, but couldn’t consistently command my hand to do the right thing, or perhaps the muscles in my hand just weren’t capable of responding after a long day!

So I have now flown for the first time post stroke..! had my first flightat my Dad’s club flying field in Whissendine, Rutland all of it on the buddy box with the gyro on 2D mode to keep me and. My stoopid left hand on the straight and narrow! Other than realising half way through that I now need the elevator and rudder stick ( mode 1 ) much longer now I have to pinch the sticks it went quite well - no unscheduled Aeros or arrivals. Thanks to the gyro. In the main! The hardest thing was walking into the field over some very uneven ground! As I couldn’t roll in in the chair

Correct, some early Spek receivers did suffer from very high brownout ( reboot) voltages so any dodgy RX pack could cause issues. That issue is long since gone now though, all those RXs have been replaced in the s ok we’rek line up a long time ago

I think the problem now is that I am grieving for my former life now I am back at home, and the worries about providing for my family often feel all consuming. I just hope we can navigate a way through the coming years without experiencing a financial Armageddon.😢

I am actually quite a health loving person, and was seemingly just unlucky, the most likely cause was a fall from my e whilst downhill mountain biking I have never been overweight or lazy wrt exercise either But my life is well and truly screwed up now as not even strong enough to open the fridge door and carry a coffee that I’ve made in my affected left hand and my strong right hand has for the moment to start on my walking stick as result I am almost totally dependent on my wife around the house. It’s prertt miserable tbh at the moment cap per by my 9 year old telling me at the weekend - your no fun now Daddy. The worst thing is I don’t disagree either I am no fun to be around, really, as I can never truly relax if I’m not working or doing therapy activities I feel like I am wasting time. That could be being used for those activities to keep us afloat financially and I can’t see me flying any time soon either without bring on a buddy lead with my Dad 😢 and I used to ea pretty good pilot. I doubt I will ever have the dexterity or strength to connect the EC5 connector s on my Sebart Miss wind either , and if I did how the heel could I ever fly it safely I blooming hate my damaged brain it is rubbish!!!

Don’t waste your time talking to these guys - they know well and good that that kind of flying is illegal. Instead grab your phone and take some video of the drone and pilot in question flying illegally , and call the police to report it too ! That is the only thing that will change their behaviour. In the long run

Agreed I remember it being quite simple and it was only the second model I’d ever built, though I did have my dad helping me!!

For me this purchase was not required, as flight performance and handling of this model will be relatively similar to your Easyglider; did that ever get assembled and flown? Matt.

One thing we can say with confidence is that it would almost certainly be banned to nowas it will containtoo many dangerous/environmentally banned VOCs…!

Personally if you are planning on i power in the end I would just start with that, as you will need to mod fuselage length for electric!

Bear in mind balancing may be an issue with electric without lengthening the fuselage, as any modern lipo/ brushless setup will be a lot lighter than an ic setup.

Note - if you want you can also use film brown paper of you don’t like painting; it sticks really well to the pva in the brown paper layer!

A Thing should be perfect for brown paper technique. To be fair tspekvhad no choice on dsm2 backward compatibility as it was rendered non conpliant with EUregs in around 2020ish

Yay, I am back home!!! Got a bit delayed, but made it two days late, held up by social care issues!

The difference with this helmet is obviously there is no ram air cooling effect at walking speeds or when rolling in the chairing always wore a helmet to, but sadly in my case it didn’t stop the damage to my carotid artery’s, which i got partially torn, bled into the artery wall, then the clot formed and moved to my brain a week and a bit later / well that is my consultants working theory.
