  1. Posted by Daniel Cardona on 01/10/2012 19:22:04: the tucano it's nice but correct me if i'm wrong , if i remember the tucano's wing is permanently attached to the fuselage. so the whizzza for me is more versatile with the detacttable wing plus looking to a video on youtube it has a very nice speed range. go whizzza! Daniel, you are correct,it is a one peice model....but,it's very easy to make the wing seperate for very little weight gain.I have one that's in the matt chapman livery and made into a two peice, still just as strong as well,so that should put the Tucano back in the running.
  2. Nice Bomber Olly, What motors are you going to use?,Are you going to update the specs and use brushless motors or stick to the power as per the plan. FF
  3. Danny,i havent seen your thread, but,im not talking about just detailing and finishing. Im talking about the whole process ,from choosing a plane, getting info on the subject and so on to a finish.
  4. There seems to be more and more people starting to build from plans these days and going by the forum, scale detail seems to be top priority on alot of the builds. What would be nice is having a long term scale project that can run over quite a few issues, showing and explaining all types of scale detail for those who find this a dark art. The scale plan could be a free issue one month with the write ups rolling over the months. Im sure there would be plenty of intrest, and having the project over rolling issues. FF

When you get to the main wing panel and insert the spar, use epoxy for that. let me know how your getting on .....cutting out the parts shouldnt take to long, there isnt that many. Vince

  14. Hi Roy, Glad to help and glad you like it,yes is all made using 6mm depron and a carbon tube reinforment in the wing.As you will see from the build writeup ,to complete the model including electrics ,it will be a great little flyer for very little outlay. Im making 2 of them at the moment (one for my son ..)using grey and white depron.Im building them in between building a tony nijhuis lanc (3rd one, sold the others) and a 1/4 scale bi plane. Look forward to hearing of your build when your back in a couple of weeks. Vince
