FMS Supercub, new model to me, as i needed to replace my Sebart Shark for training duties, the Shark is getting on for at least 5 years old and taught a lot of people, plus my own flying. the only plane i really liked to continue to teach students was the fms supercub,, this photo was taken by a current student, Paul Gerry, set against Dartmoor (Haytor) not too far away -

Hi Carl, have a drive over and come have a fly with us, I would recommend a max thrust riot to get you flying asap, then build something that you want to. A foam trainer is a good place to start, A hard decision is what radio to buy,

NEW POLL - do you use a throttle kill switch?
sgwlm replied to David Ashby - Moderator's topic in Model Flying Polls
one of the first things i set up, throttle isolate/disable/kill switch, also add some red heatshrink over it so it is easily identified, it is also something i make sure that anyone i am teaching has set up. All my planes have throttle arm/disarm safety switch, i never take anything for granted, even as careful as i think i am, safety is for everyone and not just the pilot, Edited By sgwlm on 26/10/2019 09:37:32 -
