  2. Hi Denis, without Gyro in the circuit, Ailerons are fine, on T8J if using 2 channels for Ailerons I have always set flaperons to 'ACT' else I only get right Aileron moving.. and it in flaperon that you actually set the Aileron movement when using 2 channels. channel 6 has always worked for me as 2nd Aileron channel.
  3. Hi Denis, Thanks but normal wing set on Detrum, no option in T8J or Detrum to set number of servos..
  4. Hi everybody, Have Futaba T8J tx and R2006gs rx with Detrum Istone pro 6 axis gyro, I am using 2 Aileron channels 1 and 6, flaperon set to ACT to enable this. When gyro is included, Elevator and Rudder movements are reversed and both Ailerons move in the same direction. Elevator and Rudder can be changed by reversing in tx, but no matter what I do with Ailerons they both move in the same direction. Can anyone help?
  5. The automatic call for AAA screening started in 2009, if you reach 65 before then you will not/do not get called, as I discovered, simply contact your local AAA screening to arrange the ultra sound scan.
  6. I had the exact same problem a couple of years ago with an SC46, turned out that during move from bench to aircraft I had dropped the very thin trust washer that sits between prop driver and bearing, without this clearance is nil. Just a thought.
  7. I had the same problem many years ago, I had a dustbin sunk into the ground at the side of the pond with a permanent syphon from the pond, I used a long 'U' shaped pipe as a syphon, if the syphon failed I removed the pipe, filled it with water by laying it flat in the pond, covered each end with a plastic bag and then put it in the correct place before removing the plastic bags, I solve the problem of the bin becoming empty if the feed got block by make a float switch from bits and pieces operated by a ball float from an old toilet cistern. It worked a treat.

  10. Thanks for suggestion Andy, not an 'offset' function as such on T8J, exchanged several emails with 'Futaba' support, even after following instructions given, still cannot remove 'up' deflection. They never actually said it could be done, not had an answer back for my last question which was specifically asking ' can it be done? Michael
  11. Hello All, attempting to set up flaperons on T8J, use VR as flaps control gives both surfaces up if VR anti clockwise, flat if centered and down if fully clockwise, not ideal changed VR to use a 3 position switch gives same results, have played with values in 'Flaperon' section of menu but cannot figure out how to completely remove all up movement with out removing movement when using aileron function, have tried manipulating 'flap trim' values, still no success. Is it possible to set down deflection only when using 'flap' control? Michael
  12. Hi All, just upgrading to 2.4 and I have purchased a Futaba T8J, I am very pleased with it apart from the warning beep volume, being rather old in the tooth, a little hard of hearing in the higher tones, I cannot hear the beep while at the field, just about hear it in doors, but not at all while outside, any ideas on how I might add extra loud beeper or change the volume setting? live in hope Michael

  14. Hi FB3, Have to assume that she is having a TT Internet connection in her own name, she will be given the option to set up an email account when signing up, and will create her own password. For the actual internet connection TT will provide the connection password. Now TT provide a Web Mail account for all users (you must be connected to read your mail), if you want a client mail account, it will depend on what OS you are using as to what client mail application you will use. I am a retire PC Consultant, if you want free telephone assistance pm me and I'll give you my number. Micahel
