  1. Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. Fly boy3 the Lettering is covering. I printed on to paper, a glue stick used to glue on top of covering, cut out lettering, remove film backing, iron on with very hot iron, paper is then removed. and a final going over with iron.
  2. G'day Peter I have received a Saito FA 100 t engine and would realy enjoy flying with this engine in one of your model designs. what do you recommend for this engine from your range. this time next year i hope to be test flying. regards bbc

  6. I do and will always recommend the Radian glider 3 channel for the absolute beginner.
  7. Tony I cannot stop thinking that you spend more on your models than car and shed combined. no other modellers would be guilty of that though, would we ladies and gentleman? huhumm. Awesome.
  8. shoosh keep down and quiet, I can't believe the wife has turned up looking for me.
  9. A fellow was out hunting when he spots a big brown bear, he takes aim, fires and misses. the bear runs him down drags him off in to the bushes and plays birds and the bees with him, well the hunter is furious and returns the following week with a bigger and deadlier rifle. again he misses and again the bear drags him off to the bushes for more birds and the bees. the hunter is livid and returns a week later with a bazooka. again he takes aim fires and misses. the bear runs the hunter down grabs him by the ear and asks. " you don't really come here for the hunting do you?"
  10. three men in a boat first says "that looks shocking" second says " worst i have ever seen" third says "Get me to a hospital"
  11. good on you Peter posting this. Australia we had a few scams where we were informed that we were to report to local court hearing or ring this number to pay a fine without going to court. i reported this to government and a notice was issued on the government website to alert those that might search the issue. but as you say many people would get trapped by these scams
  12. It is Terrible when your instructor thinks it is safer behind your car when you are flying.
  13. Proof that old habits never die so thank goodness for 2.4ghz as he is still turning on his transmitter in the carpark after all these years.
  14. Cymaz and Percy. you two are sceptics with 2sugars in your tea, circuits come much later than straight flight ask a slope soarer. back and forth with a gentle wind across a slope with long glides before a turn then back again. myself father and brother taught ourselves that way and we never lost a model after our first shared machine even after joining clubs with powered models. you need time to see the model react to your thumbs.
  15. Maybe a more suitable model could be Radian Glider slow predictable model where the learner can have enough time to correct mistakes. the learner can learn  about banking and use of elevator much quicker.   Edited By bouncebounce crunch on 01/09/2017 00:49:08
