  1. Much as Danny has said! Looked forward to seeing & reading your posts, maybe one day you'll grace this forum again. Good luck and wish you success in your new 'interests'!
  2. Feeling jealous, no hinges yet. Well I was, next door neighbour has just handed me my hinges!! Thanks Danny they're brill!
  3. Thanks for posting Tony, I have been following the Mossie via VAM's Facebook page, I hadn't seen this short but sweet vid. Avspecs Ltd NZ have just popped a new fuselage from their mould I believe.
  4. Look forward to the postman a knocking, thanks Danny.
  5. While I was near Kings Lynn Models I thought I'd pop in, had a browse through their wheel bins and found these. While not accurate/scale they are close enough and I can live with them, I think! One was in a bag with different axle adaptors the other loose with just the one size fitted, asked if they are getting anymore in and told that these two were the last.
  6. If anyone's free and near the de Havilland Museum London Colney, on Saturday, Capt.Eric is opening the Sea Exhibition there at 11.30, gates open 11am. I've seen on tv and read a bit on him and he's a truly remarkable man, looking forward to reading my copy of W.O.M.S and thanks for the heads up on the programme, won't be so disappointed now when I get to watch it! Moan Time!! Sad and disappointing when film/documentary makers can't get their film clips right, in some ways, disrespectful of what the War Veterans went through. Some people not in the know will see false historic facts, and that could include me!! While I appreciate there is probably not a lot of 'fitting' footage, acknowledging similarities would help. Moan Over.
  7. Good luck Kevin, hope you get 'sorted' quickly!
  8. Sure was a magnificent sound Robin, a pair of radials and a Merlin! Makes up for not seeing any overfly from the Queens display.
  9. Gloucester Gladiator, Hawker Hurricane & Westland Lysander flying around in formation over the house for a couple of minutes today, LAA 'Party in the Park' event at Old Warden. ps, sorry about the poor quality pic!
  10. Thank you for sharing them Kevin, they're great! May I ask how do you get such well balanced exposures, are these from jpeg or RAW processed? Looking forward to seeing the rest of your photos.

  18. Years ago you could get one called Mercury wing fastener, according to my Dennis Bryant Chippie plan!
  19. Mine arrived this morning, looking good, look forward to reading the Stepcraft cnc report and Toni's Red Eagle free plan, as well as several other articles I think it will keep me quiet for a day or two! From my point of view, congratulations on a good issue and its content.
