  1. Just got my fingers crossed and hoping some one has a copy of the instructions for one of these. I was kindly given an old airframe which has a few problems to sort out so I thought I would do a proper job on it. Any info and tips for one of these gratefully received
  2. Did it come off easy ? I had one which was a sod
  3. Did they get tired and go blue in the face at the same time ?
  4. Good idea Bob, plus I can do that easily when the engine is vertical later on.
  5. I keep looking at fitting it into this Flair Astrohog, only I don't want to cut the nose about. I would rather keep the vertical engine, the fuel tank is as high as its going to get so the centers look like 30mm apart with the engine mounted on paxilon.
  6. On a Laser 70 how high could you install the carb center level above the center line of the fuel tank before it would cause problems ?
  7. Dam, did I miss all the action again !! Did anyone get a telling off ?
  8. That had me looking for a kit to build its so nice
  9. Thats funny you should mention council charges for waste as mine charge £40 a year unless you go to the waste center. Most of the garden waste I sweep up is leaves from the trees on the land the council are responsible for but they never clean up. They never clean drains, sweep leaves, the only thing they do is massacre bushes with those motorized shears on a tractor.
  10. Thats not quite the "touch and go" we were after
  11. Those pictures bring back memories, in fact anything north of Leeds has me going

Perhaps it could miss that option out. Edited By GrahamWh on 17/05/2019 20:56:38 A poll is anonymous. Are you really sure about that, who knows what happens when you press that button You could end up in some ones black book list
  13. Percy, hows the boat building coming along ?
  14. Posted by Nigel R on 16/05/2019 15:10:24: "Sparck" I looked them up, just to see what they do. Apparently (from their website) they: "work with ambitious organisations to deliver growth by designing business strategies, products and services." their website is an object lesson in vacuous business bullsh*t bingo all wrapped up in shiny animated slick design. Some more pearls: "WE CREATE SERVICES THAT TRANSFORM CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES" "WE DESIGN AND DELIVER DIGITAL PRODUCTS THAT DISRUPT THE MARKET" I, quite literally, could not make that up. And to be honest, I still don't know what they do. I guess that's why I just make stuff that does what the customer wants, instead of architecting focussed revenue stream enhancing core value matched paradigm shifts. Sounds like a load of " Twassel " to me
  15. A quadcopter " drone " on the airfield put you off so everything has been grounded
  16. Reflective camouflage technology is getting everywhere nowadays
  17. Lets say our airspace gets filled up with delivery drones, are they going to use spotters or fly line of sight like we have to ? I doubt it. How would they get away with that
  18. Can you imagine Amazon delivery drones run the same way they run the delivery drivers into the ground. They will be falling out of the sky due to poor maintenance and worn out parts because of the keep it cheap attitude.
  19. Very true, my stepdaughter had her car soft top cut to steal things and they never even came out to look at it or even take finger prints

Public forum Trebor. You don't own the airspace in your garden so you can't sell it. If you interfere with the Amazon drone and damage it, that would likely be a criminal act. I imagine Amazon could wield some considerable legal clout. You might get some personal satisfaction but in my view it is not a mature statement and certainly not helpful to improving the outcome which is all we can do. Levanter Did I say I owned the airspace Did I say I was going to damage it ? I'd like to see one fly by my garden without it getting itself tangled in tensioned lines holding Shade Sails up plus there is always the pond for it to finish off in.
