  1. We see it at Doncaster (Finningley) every time you see it, you think "nah that can't be right" Back on track now Danny P.S. great shots Phil thanks
  2. I have to go next week to arrange a club visit, will have a look and see if I can get some photo's as well John
  3. Would love to see a video of it being hand launched Andy John
  4. I flew mine on an O.S. 120 fs John, it flew great. It didn't have unlimited vertical nor power to pull out of hover easily. I don't think a 20 petrol will either. I don't know the weights for your engine choices, but moving the battery's back will help you balance without using lead. Fit a lite ply floor in rear of fuselage if needed to locate them. I used no lead in mine it balanced with the battery's fixed to engine box. John
  5. As Martin says, adjust c.g. models like this are more tolerant to a rearward one. It'll also liven up your other moves John
  6. In terms of balancing your model without using lead it's good FB3, only downside is it may spoil the look a little. John
  7. What do you mean by tube Danny ? Is there an outlet from the box that's shown which is not in picture ? John
  8. Tail to glue on once i've done closed loop and elevator pushrod. Slowly getting there Done my u/c, turned out quite neat, what you think ? it has a little forward rake because of comments made by others also done my main mast, just need a flag on it now. Fly it this Sunday is the plan.

  11. Also if you wear glasses check where the scratches are before starting John
  12. I get carried away as well, my next ones a glider, own design something simple with motor on to gain height, then do some aerobatics. At worse WF all you would need to do is shorten w/span a little if needed John
  13. Can't fault that Colin, it was built for a purpose, not just for modellers to copy. With you on October as well, will buy wood at nats and get some flying done for now John
  14. Another nice colour scheme, I like it Nev I've just done two silver models, mine could end up yellow, I fancy a few rivets myself, its easy they come in a bottle John
