  1. Yes and no, I put just my phone number on my vintage models as they can go up rather quickly if you catch a good thermal. Many years ago (40+) I was flying an A1 glider with a friend at RAF Linton-on-Ouse who didn’t light the DT fuse correctly. Up she went straight up out of sight! Over a week later I got a post card (No phone then) from a farmer who found it up on the moors undamaged in a field with is sheep. It was 45 miles away in a straight line from Linton. We always double checked the DT fuse after that.
  2. Use solartex and a Flair colour scheme pack on mine.
  3. Mark, Great film. I was in Cyprus then but a few years later I was at Chivnor working with the Hawk. I also worked on a few of the aircraft in the show over the years. Like I said great film, brings back many happy memories, thank you.
  4. Same here ken, pva and cyano. I also before pressing together put a couple of drops of cyano in the centre of both pieces, this seems to set the pva quicker.
  5. Watching with interest having repaired/rebuilt the top wing of my Legonaire this year, haven't flown her yet, been one of those years. Peter
  6. I agree with John the Black Magic is a great for a 30 FS. Here are a couple of photos of one I built with a OS 25 2 stroke fitted, would of been nicer with a 30 FS.
  7. You may like to build a Krick Klemm L 25 Kit, I have one which I started to build last winter and hope to finish this winter. The 30 will be ideal. This was an electric kit, which my son gave me, as Krick do both I have made the items required to fit my SC 30. Peter
  8. This is a good link which could help the old grey matter **LINK**
