  6. Peter, I was on the HK Hong Kong website, which is the only one that ships to UK at the moment. Cheapest carriage was £23, total £53 for two rolls.
  7. OK.I am just about to order two rolls from HK Global, it didn't like me ordering from EU. Cheapest shipping works out at £53 in total for two 5 metre rolls. Is this reasonable or /. Works out at £10 per metre which is cheaper than Pro film, just. ? Maury
  8. I will be honest here and will probably get slammed by some (or many), but I wouldn't wrap my sandwiches in Solarfim. Never mind a model.........
  9. I tried to order yellow film covering. HK says no shopping from this warehouse etc. Got on tech chat with their agent, and he said I should use a different search engine like Google chrome, and it's my Ipads fault. ???
  10. Aahhh. October1976. Cutting my rc teeth when this came out. See that advert for Horizon on page 6 ?. My first system. No range out of the box, brand new. Got it fixed (micro mold) and very soon swapped it for Skyleader. As regards two stroke versus electric, they are the obvious choice for multi motors. A two stroke thirty on song will probably put out, 500/600 watts ish ?. Seeing as how 750 watts is one hp. My Axi 3540 puts out 650 watts on 4s power, and seems very happy doing it. Love the 88 !!. Maury
  11. What colour is the negative wire on spectrum servos please ? Maury
  12. Hey Don. Just 're read your post. Albert Ball flew an early SE5 not the 5a . Radiator front different and wing tips squarer. Sorry to be fussy.......
  13. If you read the mods reply, that's why. I fly whenever I can and sometimes when I shouldnt. Climates with serious gear and stabilised stuff always look calmer and more in control. I believe gyros are allowed in scale comps now: unless ive got that wrong ?. Maury
  14. Has anybody experience of which to buy, I was thinking of trying one. Minimum of Aileron and Elevator. I fly a 14sg, got all manner of rxs. Anybody advice or recommend ? Maury
  15. Evo stick or, if I'm not in a rush; aliphatic resin. And a big weight to keep it down.
  16. I forgot I also have a part started Duncan Hutson 70 inch kit I bought off a modeller a while ago. Just got to get better and start building again...... Maury
  17. Good man. Albert Ball my absolute hero. As is the SE5, my all time favourite aeroplane. Built one Keil Kraft and two Flair 1/6th versions.. I bought a semi kit of the Dennis Bryant 53 inch version from Sarik. Watching with much interest. Visited Alberts grave in France two years ago, left a cross and a Poppy wreath.
  18. Two topics I love to read on here; batteries (how to/what's the best). And nitro motors ( how much/which oil) Navel gazing and good entertainment.
  19. Southern Model Craft 5% synthetic in everything. Contest 10 is so expensive.
  20. Thanks to all. I will buy it from ADH. Regards Maurice
  21. Sorry that should read can I buy it or print it or ?
